Speech Topics for Younger Speakers:

[…] Informative Speech Topics […]
i thought these weren’t very good topics.
they’re not very engaging and there isn’t a lot to say on the matters.
You serious ? You can talk for hours on any of this topics, just use your imagination…
I agree with jenna, they’re not that great topics, not what i’m looking for. I need
a topic that people can relate to like animal cruelty. Something more
interesting with a meaning.
I’m in college and I need an Informative topic for Speech 101 class and I really want to do it on Smallville (it’s about Superman as a teenager ). But my mom is telling me that I shouldn’t do that because all of that stuff is made up ( the people, his powers, krypton, kryptonite, kryptonian language and so on). But I don’t think that should matter because I would be informing about the show… am I wrong?

You are not.
The topic by itself is not that important. The only thing that matters is “credibility” )
The audience should get your point
i think they are more demostrative topics rather then informative, informative should not have how to in front of it how to is demonstrative.
I didn’t find any good! y? if anyone what to say to me something good ideas send me an email…..
come on guys. say something………………………… I really want to know something…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried to look through the whole website ?
There are hundreds of ideas…
I didnt find anything…………………………………………………………………..
I have to say, this list wasn’t very helpful. I’m a college freshman and I need a topic for my Speech class. While I agree that some of these topics can be talked about for hours, I don’t find them very interesting, and the audience, knowing them, will not enjoy a speech on one of the topics here.
Could I have “fields of interest” for topic?
If so, how can I make it sound good or interesting in the audiences’ point of view?
girls like pink because they are stupid
Not ALL girls like pink!!!
BUT the ones that do; ARE STUPID!!!
Maybe my opinion is biased because I am a creative writer, but I am fourteen and I can find copious amounts of things to speak of within each of these topics. Remember to break each thing down into minuscule pieces before you start writing… Ex: How to make a hot dog [Or veggie dog, I recommend]
1. Buying the supplies.
a. Buns
b. Brands of hot dogs [or soy alternatives]
c. Condiments
2. Methods of cooking
a. Boiling
b. Baking…
c. Frying
d. BBQ
There is so much more I could elaborate on, simply talking about hot dogs! I realize this wasn’t a topic, but I wouldn’t want to do somebody’s work now, would I?
