I think you should have topics for primary school students too as this will give them more ideas. I am searching for speech topics but right now, i can noit find any topics that children can speak about.
i agree i am searching for some topics to speak about and there is nothing here i can not find anything if you put topics for primray kids then your website could be bigger to.
I am also having the same problem. I can’t think of anyting and I need to make a big impression because this is my last year and I graduate in summer. this my grade 8 year so we need apropriate topics for every age.
I don’t think this website is vey good because the ideas are to awkward and about things people don’t care about, I think this website has alot of work to do to be a good one.

Hello, Everyone. I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.
My name is Shawna Newton and I am an author/teacher and write articles for Acey Gaspard who recently purchased this site.
The site is currently being overhauled by Acey and myself so please bear with us and come back to visit to view the changes.
As I am a college instructor, you can be sure that I am fully aware of the woes of giving speeches/presentations, and their proper format to “wow” the audience. Therefore, you will be seeing a lot of new, solid information that addresses these issues very soon.

Grade 8 is kind of that middle ground in teenage years.
We have been working on improving the site and I will write a new article for Grade 8 speech topics next. I’ll let you know when that’s up.

I’m so sorry you didn’t find anything you liked.
We DO, in fact, have speech topics available under the elementary/Middle School tab. Maybe you couldn’t find those because you were looking for a tab that said, “8th Grade.”
We have some terrific new topics for 8th graders in there and I’m sure you’ll find one that you like.

id be nice if there were funny speech topics for us im in grade 7 and need a good speech topic the best one i found on other websites were exuses thats a funny can be information linked and can be 3-5 minets. i would like more funny-educational-less complicated combined to make a speech all your topices seem…………..brather ummmmm less intrusting…boring ask the public what they want then anser them by puting it in the list i would think these speech topicesmwould be better with what i say but others have to picth in aswell as well as me thank you for reading this sorry for time waste.[]

You can easily make the topics 5 minutes or less. The one about making a meal using a coffee maker actually had book written on how to do it, “Cooking Without a Kitchen: The Coffemaker Cookbook” by Peter Mazonson. You could make it funny while still showing the ‘fact’ of how it’s done in about 3 minutes.

You can add a “little bit of funny” to any topic by running a search through Google or other search engine. Look for forums on the topic and people’s comments. You’ll be amazed at how many comments can be very funny and rewritten to include in your speech.
For example, let’s say you were giving a factual speech on the many ways baby wipes can be used. Run a search for “mom forums” and see if anyone has shared a funny experience or story and rewrite it as part of your speech, “This one mother discovered she could use baby wipes to _____” or “A mother couldn’t find the baby wipes and discovered her 4-year old had decided to plaster them all to a bedroom wall as wallpaper,” which could be funny.
