Those aren’t funny…. sry! BUT, there are a lot of other great speech topics you could do! funny or not… Ex: Vegetarianism (this could get you a lot of points!!) , Weird Dreams, What can you do with a paperclip, Weird names parents give their kids, Annoying things to do in an elevator, etc….

these arent funny @ all some really funny topics are why school stinks, how to be a comedian, 10 ways to order a pizza, how to cheat on a test, 5 reasons you dont want to write the speech, etc.

Ian, I have been an English teacher for years. Frankly, I’ve never heard of a 3-5 minute speech. A speech is comprised of an introduction, the facts (can be funny), and a conclusion. What you’re looking for is just something to comment on—which is not a true speech; it is simply that—a comment.

ANY topic can be made to last only 4 minutes. It’s not the topic; it’s knowing how to write a short speech: sticking to the main facts, and knowing what details are really that important.
